Javier David Ramos is an artist involved in abstraction and experimentation, his work peeks into the well of human irrationality while caressing the skin of the painting.

"A fundamental aspect of art exceeds nature: in its capacity to fertilize itself without
dying.
This quote of distinguished historian and art critic Norbert Lynton explains his vision of art in a continuum in which the new and old coexist and where new discourses are nothing but a transformation of a complete artistic tradition. This vision not only pertains to the temporary placement of an artist’s work in regards to who preceded him in the plastic vocabulary that he chose to express himself but also insists on the conceptual and formal evolution of the work of the same creator. This organic vision of the creative task promulgated by Klee has been the compass that has guided my artistic production and has permitted in the fluidity of my plastic discourse for room to be made for a personal and shared iconography to mature.
The paintings of the great masters of abstract and figurative, past and contemporary art decisively nourish my paintings.
Reliably, a great part of my paintings show the marriage between watered down colors with fluency and lyricism present in the most recent work and the thick pigment impastos characteristic of previous creative periods.
Fragments of the cardboard that are used as a palette are integrated in this expressive search that originated in the subconscious".
